Welcome to 2014 | Personal | Fayetteville, N.C. Photographer

I hope your holidays treated you well ... and I hope 2013 treated you even better. I have a lot to be thankful for what 2013 brought me. My family grew, my business grew, and I grew professionally, creatively and personally. I want to thank everyone who supported me throughout the year, who continue to, and who will in the future.

My clients — you rock. Without you, I wouldn't be where I am today. My business is now full time, I get to spend my mornings with my infant and afternoons with my boys. I get to be a mommy with out the heart ache of balancing a full time job working someone else's hours. I still work full time, but I get to edit with my youngest in my arms, take breaks to play Legos with my eldest and cook for my husband. It's great and I thank you for that.

My friends & prior coworkers — thank you for giving me the support and encouragement to leave a steady paycheck and follow my dreams. No matter how far away from me you move, you're still cheering me on. This journey would've been a lot more scary if it were not for y'all.

My fellow photographers — you are truly inspiring. You guys know who you are. You push me to be better. You check in on me when I haven't posted a picture in a while. You remind me about taxes. You include me in your ventures. You recommend me to new clients. You are great friends, role models, and oh so talented. I have grown in my art because of you. Thank you.

My parents & brother — you guys are my biggest fans and you don't know how much that means to me. You root for me even when I fear failure. You recommend me to people and brag about me. Thank you and I love you.

My husband — you know how much I love you. You know how much I rely on your support. You know that I couldn't do what I do without you there telling me I can succeed. All the hours of watching the boys alone while I take a session, all the dinners you had to cook alone because I was shooting, all the weekends where you had to entertain the kids alone because I was working, and for all the times I was behind the lens or sitting at my computer instead of cuddling on the couch ... all mean so much to me because you never complained, you full heartedly supported me and my ventures. It's a little scary not knowing what my photography career will bring, but you stand beside me and I cannot express how much I thank you.

Future friends, clients & business partners — I look forward to meeting you and seeing what 2014 will bring. Because if it's anything like 2013, I know it'll be a great year to expand, grow, learn, and live the life.

Thank you!
