Not going to lie, I love lifestyle newborn portraits! It's so FRESH - why? Because baby is so fresh. BUT it's different. You get to relax in your home. You get to add your personal touches ... and one sibling is tired? Let her go nap in the other room (HER room)! <3

This family has been coming to me many years now and I'm so appreciative of them. When they said they were having a boy ... I was sooooo happy for them! Three beautiful girls and now their boy. I mean, come on, how perfect is this family??

 I sure will miss them! Not only am I moving, but they are too! Here's to hopefully see them in the near future!

The sweet little girl celebrated her half birthday with me! Momma decided to go with a patriotic vibe as it was close to Independence Day, but also because this family is part of Team RWB (Red, White, Blue), a veterans organization that helps military servicemembers get back into the civilian world combining community service and physical activity. An organization close to my heart as well.

I mean come on!!!?! She rocked this session right??

And she loves cake just as much as I do! hahahaha!

There's nothing more that I love is when I have a momma and her kid(s) in front of my lens. So many times, mothers say that they hate the camera. Or don't want to be in front of the camera. Or are just NOT in front of the camera because they are behind it capturing their children growing up.

So when I get the chance to treat special mommas to a Mother's Day mini ... I jump at it! This year, due to location size, I opened up a mommy and me session for my friends. And look at the outcomes!!! GORGEOUS mommas (and daddy) with their children. <3

I even made my children get in on the fun ... and made my husband snap a few of my crazies. Moms! Make sure you get in the portraits! Your children want to see you in pictures and show you off to their children. Because face it, you're pretty important! ;)

Lost Traveler | Creative | El Paso, TX Photographer

"All journeys have secret destinations of which the traveler is unaware." 

This amazing place for instance. I had no clue this gorgeous location was in the heart of El Paso. Okay, so not exactly in the heart but it is definitely on the outskirts of El Paso. It is stunning. I don't understand when people say El Paso is ugly or horrible or anything other than stunning.

My boy was in heaven when I took him out here to the Red Sands. He wasn't thrilled with the picture taking, but that went swimmingly for my theme of a "Lost Traveler." He kept saying he felt like Newt from the book series, Fantastic Beasts. Either way, I can't be more proud of how these images came out.

I can't believe how fast he is growing up. And even at 12, he will (begrudgingly) play along when I say, "Hey! Put this on and get into the car!"

I sure am going to miss El Paso and the limitless backdrops it has to offer!
