End of May & June | Monthly Photo Dump | Fayetteville, N.C. Photographer

Okay. Lemme 'splain something ... We all know I'm not good at posting things. I know, you know, we all know. So this lil' project that I call the Monthly Photo Dump ... well, I got behind — as usual. I mean, I could go on and on, telling you why I didn't post May's photo dump on time. I mean, I only just went to England and France the end of May into June. I mean, that couldn't have possibly been the reason. Or the fact that I've been playing catch up for clients and work and blah, blah, blah. Nope, those couldn't be the reasons.

However, I am late on the May Monthly Photo Dump. I'm sorry. BUT! I am on time with the June Monthly Photo Dump!

So, I'm pretty sure that you guys know that I'm going to say the month's of May and June have kept me pretty busy. I squeezed in a few SWP sessions as well as Operation Love: ReUnited sessions before I left for my D-Day coverage in England and France (which I'm still working on personal photos from there!). I also went on a beach retreat with the family, via the Strong Bonds Program through the Army. Saw the movie, The Avengers, which was kinda like a national holiday in the Wells' household. Superheroes are a big thing with us. In June, after I returned from the trip, we kinda just chilled around Fayetteville and I took the family to the Airborne and Special Operations Museum to teach my son (and my husband) about WWII and what I had learned from my trip. The Iron Mike statue was a big stop to show my son because the real one, in Stainte Mere-Eglise, France, is much smaller than the one in front of the museum and the one on Fort Bragg. Once I got back into the swing of business and family time, I tried new hairstyles via Pinterest, Skyped with family and had my iPhone run over, and caught up with friends. Fun stuff. Birthday parties and girls night outs, and of course acquiring a Ryan Newman autographed race tire from the Coca-Cola 600 were just some of the highlights in June.

These end of month photo dumps are taken with Instagram or Hipstamatic (on my iPhone) and put into a Photoshop template where I can share with you 15 of my family photos from the month. I hope this gives you a little insight of what my family does on a monthly basis. I won't give too much explanation to the photos, as it is a photo dump, but if you follow me on Facebook — you won't be too lost! :-)
