New Year, Welcome Home | Military Homecoming | Fort Bragg, NC Photographer

I began the new year (2016) with a homecoming ... it's taken a while to blog, but you know me and blogging ... however, this homecoming was super cute because of the little girl waiting on her daddy!

They opened up the huge gate and it was empty ... no soldier in sight ... we waited, and waited .... they were early to open the gate apparently. Then suddenly, the formation of soldiers marched in. The awaiting crowd gasped and cheered with delight.

Mom lifted her up to find her daddy. She searched and searched each row of soldiers and finally, she saw him!

Yay! He's home!

When he was released, he raced into her arms and he lifted her up, delighted to see her precious face in person once more!

She rested her head on his sturdy shoulder, relieved that he was home and she was safe inside his arms. She could be at ease knowing he was going to keep her safe and sound.

Mom soon joined in on the hug and they became one, melting into each others arms in an excited relief.

She wore his hat with pride and mommy told daddy about their wait and what they had planned for the rest of the day.

Daddy helped button up her fancy new coat ...

... and together, they walked home. Hand in hand.

Welcome home! If you have a hero coming home soon, make sure to book your homecoming session today! For more information please check HERE.
