Close Call Return | Military Homecoming | Fayetteville, N.C. Photographer

I always have awesome stories to tell about homecomings ... this one is the craziest ... coolest one yet.  So I got a text from her saying she was on way. I was already at airport and waiting on the plane and her. Well, the plane landed and two guys that LOOKED military came outta the gateway. One was greeted by his family and I could tell it had been a long time since they saw each other. The other guy looked around, looked at his phone and then looked around again. I had a hunch he was the one. I pulled up Facebook to see if he was in fact her husband ... he was, but by the time I looked back up, he was heading down the escalator. So I followed him .. not creepy at all...

Once I stepped off the escalator, he was going back up ... so I followed. I got to the top and he dashed back down the escalator, causing me to run down the stairs. I caught him greeting his family at the bottom as I briskly walked up to them just snapping away, hoping to get something! She saw me and pointing and smiling.

 Out of breath, but happy I wasn't stalking a stranger, I began photographing the family's reunion. LOL lil' sister was still a little bewildered, but big brother was just SOOO happy Daddy was home!

He even choked up a lil ... the sweetest thing.

He was super proud of his sign and made sure daddy saw it up close and personal!

Helping dad with his bag ... it's a tad heavy. ;)

Lil' sister was ready for her hug and cuddle time with daddy. Super sweet isn't she?
