"H" Couple | OpLove: Pre-Deployment | Fayetteville, N.C. Photographer

Newly weds. This is why I love taking pictures of couples. Newly weds are the best. They still have that shy-factor going on when they're with each other and a new person, but when they open up — the open up. This couple is just gorgeous. I mean just look at them!

"P" Family | OpLove: Pre-Deployment | Fayetteville, N.C. Photographer

Another OpLove session that I love to share is this cute family. The little girl was just precious and he carried a little camouflaged bear everywhere. So stinking cute!

Mom and Dad also had to bribe coheres the lil' one to smile for photos with lollipops. So funny. She also wanted to feed the "fish" in the little creek we were near — but she was feeding them rocks and leaves. Ha! Hey, we do what we gotta do!

Check out these amazing shots.

End of March | Monthly Photo Dump | Fayetteville, N.C. Photographer

So, I'm a little late on this photo dump ... but what's new, right? When it comes to challenges or things like this, I tend to push it to the side for other things, like business, my other job, or personal time. Eh ... I'll get better at it.

The month of March was really busy for me ... not so much for SWP, but for me personally. I headed to Eleuthera for a Methodist University mission trip (HERE), I did my Reserve duty in Kalamazoo, MI (took some flower shots from there), and headed to Charlotte to take pictures for the Paraglide of the Vietnam Welcome Home ceremony (link to come). Busy, busy, busy, but oh so fun!

These end of month photo dumps are taken with Instagram or Hipstamatic (on my iPhone) and put into a Photoshop template where I can share with you 15 of my family photos from the month. I hope this gives you a little insight of what my family does on a monthly basis. I won't give too much explanation to the photos, as it is a photo dump, but if you follow me on Facebook — you won't be too lost! :-)

Enjoy!

"A&R" Couple | OpLove: Pre-Deployment | Fayetteville, N.C. Photographer

This couple is just the cutest. They are engaged and waiting for him to come home from his deployment to get married — this is the ultimate test of their relationship. It's so nice to see this young couple so in love! They are adorable ... I really don't have to explain how adorable they are, just look at this photos!

30 day Challenge: Day 24

Today's Challenge: Animal

This challenge made me smile. I am such an animal lover and as some of you know, I dedicate some time to the Fort Bragg Animal Adoption Facility taking professional quality photos of the animals up for adoption. In fact, today I volunteered my lunch hour to them and got six wonderful animals. While I was there for an hour, FOUR families came in to check out the animals at the facility and one even decided to foster a GORGEOUS, female pit bull. It was awesome! It just feels awesome to see these animals being adopted or foster. These animals are for adoption as we speak:

A bright and crisp morning

Every year around Veterans Day, the sun rises just right. It shines through the center of Downtown Fayetteville's Market Square arches. I, with other highly motivated and dedicated (and a little crazy) photographers patiently waited in the middle of Hay Street to see the amazing sight. I had gone last year, but didn't achieve the shot I wanted ... this year, I got it. Next year? I'll have to figure out a different way to capture this annual event.

Here are the photos:

See what we photographers go through to "get the shot?" LOL

Love that Shot: Beautiful Bokeh Photo Challenge

In honor of out Independence Day, let us not forget those who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
