When I was asked to photograph this change of command, I jumped at the opportunity! I mean, this is a big and important day. Why not have a professional photographer there?!
I've done many military ceremonies as a photojournalist in the past, but this was extra special for me. Someone WANTED my talents there to capture this HUGE moment in their lives. I can't tell you how much that means to me.
